Unison organise a variety of social and sporting events for the benefit of their members. If you would like to join in on any of the events you must be a member of Unison.
Unison have organised some excellent sporting events over the years including golf days, fishing trips, ten pin bowling, cricket, clay pigeon shooting and football competitions. If you have an interest in any of the below please contact us.
This popular night will again take place at Bell Vue Manchester. We are currently arranging a date and transport.

The Easterby Cup, Unisons qualifying event for the NW UNISON TROPHY 2011, is to be held at Ashton and Lea Golf on Wednesday 8 September from 1.30pm onwards.
The top 8 players on the day will form 2 4men teams to play in the N.W. Unison event to be held in the summer of 2011.
The cost for day will be £17 per person and there will be £120 worth of prizes for the event.
The cost has kindly been subsidised with a contribution from Unison.

The 2 dates and costs for this years Hackers Days have now been confirmed. Both days will take place at Garstang Golf & Country Club.

The cost will include 27 holes of golf, 9 in the morning and 18 in the afternoon.
Tees Booked:
30/04/10 AM: 9am – 10am - PM: 12.30pm – 13.30pm
03/09/10 AM: 8.50am – 9.40am - PM: 12.20pm – 13.10pm
Food will be available from the Golf Club if you wish. All golfers are asked to make their own arrangements.
In order to reserve your place on these days we require a £10 deposit per person per event, e.g. £20 per person if you are playing both. You will be asked to pay the balance of £8 per event nearer the time or on the day. Deposits are non-refundable.

The new season is under way and will run until the 11 May 2010. Players need to be registered UNISON members to qualify to play. 7 a side league (2010 A) tables and fixtures. To join a team please contact: unison.sports@lancashire.gov.uk
A RIFLE RANGE shoot at Leyland Motors Rifle Club will take place later in the year. Food will be provided on the night and should be Lancashire Hot Pot. For information/booking please contact unison.sports@lancashire.gov.uk .
