Here are some of the items we will want to talk about during the 90 day consultation period on Terms And Conditions.

  1. Harmonising the working week to 36.25 hours for all. We had a commitment in 1999 to work towards this, when the timing was right, as part of the initial discussions around Single Status.
  2. Flexi Time to apply across the authority.
  3. An increase in the amount of flexi-leave without any decrease in the debit allowance.
  4. Removal of the existing core time.
  5. Enhanced Carers Leave in addition to the existing 6 days special leave with pay.
  6. Banking arrangements in relation to Annual Leave.
  7. A Review in the current Sleep-in arrangements.
