Advice for members
UNISON has been made aware that Unite-the union have circulated details of a meeting to take place on Wednesday 31st March stating that the meeting is a joint TU meeting.
The Branch wishes to make it clear that UNISON has not been consulted about the meeting and it appears that the meeting has been called by two branches of Unite.
UNISON is currently arranging meetings around the County and these details will be circulated as soon as possible.
The Branch is alarmed that the Lancashire Evening Post article today contains a number of inaccuracies which may adversely effect any member who 'acts' on this information and may be putting their own and UNISON's position in jeopardy.
